Default MAF Question,... About the wires.

What must you do if one of the wires inside the MAF broke??? That happened to me and now my truck is won't run.

Do I need to trash it and buy another or what?

Thanks

The 02-03 ZO6 (LS6) Vette 85mm MAFS doesnt have a screen. The 2001-2004 LS1 Vette and the 2001 and 2004 LS6 Vette 85mm MAFS have a screen, which is the same 85mm MAFS as the 99-06 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 and 8.1 truck which ALL use the same 85mm screened MAFS.

I got a brand new 85MM MAFS off of ebay for $42US shipped to my door in Canada. They are worth $360.00CAN from GM.

peace

Are we getting shafted up here or what? Broke a hood release cable yesterday(it was a balmy -35*C with a nice breeze). Paid the dealer $79 + taxes for the part. gmpartsdirect shows $7.50 + $10 shipping but can't sell outside US! Ordered a small grille for $45 US + $89(ouch) shipping- dealer wanted $350 so the crazy shipping charge was a steal. Paid about $35 US for my intake gaskets- dealer wanted $230! Dealer prices for 90mm TB and TAC module were triple what I paid new online from the US. GM protects its Canadian dealers nicely.
