Maf Question

i took the screen of mine the day after i bought it. It felt like it was running better to me. When i got my first dyno all i had was a descreened MAF and a K&N drop in and pulled 259rwhp and 304rwtq. And the A/F ratio stayed @ 12.5. IMO i think it adds about 100cfm to the flow through the MAF. Its been a couple years and i dyno a little more now, but the descreened MAF is working like a champ. I wonder if Parish, BigTex, and all the other 12sec or better guys take theres out.

Pretty much is it's up to you. It didn't bother my truck and I know a bunch of guys that do that, even with the f-body's. It may not help it, but it won't hurt it either. IMO it does help some with increased air getting to the throttle body! Your call man!
