AS & M headers in 3 days! also torque question
Ordered a set of AS & M headers for my 2500 HD 6.0, from T-byrne motorsports on monday, and three days later, here they are, dropped shipped from AS & M themselves, for only $682 total (got in on the end of a special). Excellent service from T-byrnes! I was wondering if anybody knows what GM recommends torque-wise on the flange bolts (the ones that bolt to the heads themselves). I don't have a tech manual to refer to, but figured somebody on here must.
Thanks,
Jason
Thanks,
Jason

if i remember correctly,tighten them to 11 ft-lbs
then re-tighten to 18 ft-lbs, and re tighten after a full warm up and cool down 18 ft-lbs again

Thanks, exactly what I needed. I figured it was somewhere around there, but exact is better than close <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
