lt pacesettler y pipe need help quick

Default lt pacesettler y pipe need help quick

I got th e headers on I can't get the y pipe on to the header its to tight of a fit what do I do

You could do a very very small pie cut. just be sure that you use a rubber mallet to slip the Y all the way up past the end of your cut.

If you're able to get the Y on a little bit, then you could use a rubber mallet to finish tapping it into place.

Or you could just run open headers

I got them now, the y pipe way to tight of a spot they should build the part that comes around to the driver side a. Little longer before the bend

Mine does too, I cut some of the y pipe and finally got it on

Mine was a nightmare. And mine was in several pieces. I almost removed the crossmember to get it right. Still needs to be redone. Leaks like a faucet.

I heated mine up and used a pry bar to move it on further to get it off of the cross member. Probably wouldn't hurt to remove the cross member and flatten the y pipe out a bit right there with a BFH.
