Lingenfelter uses the LS6's with their cams that have over .570 lift, and there are folks running around with the 6's with their TR224's (Zippy is I'm pretty sure). As long as the lobes aren't too aggressive requiring 100+lb of closed seat pressure and 300+ open, the 6's should be good to .570ish. I believe that the Yellow LS6 springs have 90#/290# seat pressure ratings...I'm sure about the 90 on the closed number, just not 100% on the 290 that I posted.

BTW, to the OP, I'd take those Patriot golds and throw them in the trash as I've seen more than one pic of cams with flattened lobes (4+ cams that I can definitely remember, maybe more), and all of them were running Pat Golds. I don't trust how their spring wire reacts when under stress. I've also heard of them loosing height rather quickly, and their titanium retainers getting gouged to ****. I don't want a flame war here or a ton of "I've been running them for x-miles with no problems" responses, just sharing my observations and opinions. Check out my recent valve spring thread in the Internal Engine Mod section for some info I gathered from a well respected race engine builder in reference to valve springs
