I installed my LS6 valley cover last night. The truck PCV check valve is different than the one pictured in the ls1howto.com swap instructions. Does the large end of the truck PCV valve still go towards the valley cover? In the instructions it looks like they reversed the check valve....the pictures show the part that used to go into the valve cover now going into the intake manifold. Is that on purpose?

Chris,
I believe that the large end would go in the direction of the dirty air (towards the valley cover) and the small end should go to a vacuum fitting on your throttle body or manifold.
The valve covers should both be for clean air (inlets) now, and should vent to the air cleaner side of the throttle body or an external filter (mini-K&N) of some sort.
This is the way it looks on my CTS-V (LS6), but I didn't pull the line to verify the check valve direction.
Hope this helps. (but let me know if it's wrong)
