I guess it is all relative. $700-800 doesn't seem too bad to me.

Kano...if I was to send you an LS1 manifold would you be willing to do a comparison for us ??.....it's be a pretty simple swap since you've worked out the bugs in the swap already !!

Your thinking about it backwards. Your tuners and stall can do it for a little less, but $700-800 for that type of gain is CHEAP!!

Think of it in the overall sence, Engine is an air pump. The better you get it in and out the more power your engine can make. The potential of an added tune on top of the gains from the intake makes it much better.

Kind of like how you loose boost pressure on forced induction trucks when you install higher flowing heads, but still make more power. The airflow potential is there now, now he just needs an 90mm LSX

I don't think its to bad money wise, especially for the guys who want to stay N/A. I know that I am about the same as Billy, except I did somethings differently. I payed $500 for my FAST manifold, then I modded a truck waterpump.

For the guys who are staying N/A, I say its a good mod.

One thing I would like to see if the LS2 car manifold would actually have more usable power for the truck guys, It seems to peak 6400

Yesterday was a good day with the DA peaking just under 500. It actually was a little better back on the 12-11 outing which was about 400. I don't think that was enough difference to matter much. The track was a little off at first yesterday but came around after some rubber was laid down.

I'm anxious to see some dyno numbers now Billy!

LOL, Don't sweat it Dan.
But think about this... You'd be lucky to get these sorta gains outta ported heads alone. Some cases you may. We all know how pricey ported heads can be.

4 tenths from an intake swap with more in it... Wait till someone throws down a FAST 90mm opening on one of these head/cam 6.0Ls...

I think it might be funny to type in LS6 intake in the search key and go and say "your wrong" to all of those who preached how incredible the truck intake really is. ... Just dickin around.

I got to do just that the other day on a local forum, for some reason everyone thinks the truck intake is great even if they dont own a truck
