Default Is the LS6 intake manifold a good upgrade?

I was curious as to if the LS6 intake manifold is a direct bolt on to a 5.3 and is it worth it, i know the truck intakes are made for more low end torque so i've heard on this site. But how's the LS6 intake manifold?

it is a bolt on and it will fit but you will need to modofy a few things like an alternator bracket i think you can get it from speartech, and youll need to bend your water neck a little too. its worth it on endines that are frequently revving mid upper 6k. if you ever plan to shift at 6400 or more-ish then it owuld be worh while. if not then its really not worth the money or the effort.

fbody water pump, with tension pulley
fbody crank pulley
fbody ALT bracket
you cna use the truck ALT but i usedthe car one also
fbody powersteering. you will need the one hose from pump to rack to work with your stock setup

and the belt since truck has slightly larger pulleys and a longer belt

ebay for a 97-98 vette fuel rail is what i used or buy new

What I have: 5.3, 4L60-E, 3.42's in the rear, all stock and a K&N Filter
MY Plan:
comp cam 216-220 525/532 114 lsa (Might have in a week)
Z06 Springs and retainers (Might have in a week or 2)
Exhaust cutout (already ordered)
LS1 Electric fans (might have in a week)
PCM tune by PCMforless.com
3000-3200 stall
100 shot (already have but don't want to use without all these mods)
3.73's later on
LT Pacesetter headers
Electric cutout. I am probably going to keep my stock muffler becaus ei kinda like it quite especially on long trips being that i drive about 700 miles a week!
