Im also looking into a good daily driver setup, i drive 50 miles round trip everyday. do you need to get a different TC if you run the LS6 cam or will the stock one be fine?

Nice tip.

gblauf's said his XR265 is a great little cam: .522/.529" lift 212/218 on a 114 LSA, yet idles close to stock & can be run w/. no tuning & stock springs. I hope it's a winner for mileage.
I'm curious myself.

03chevyroyce, the '01 LS6 cam is 207/217 .525/.525 116LSA? Do ya need longer pushrods? Didn't that or is it the '02 Z06 that has a smaller base circle? I was under impression longer pushrods are needed on whichever yr Z06 has that small base circle.

ssinister04 where didja get a LS6 cam under 5k miles, LS6 factory rods, & new yellow gm springs shipped for 150? That's a deal.

YES YOU WILL NEED THE RODS, IN YOUR THREAD YOU SAID "....i jus scored the gm ls6 cam under 5kmiles along with its factory rods......" ASSUMING THE FACTORY RODS ARE FROM A FACTORY LS6 THEY SHOULD HOLD UP IN YOUR 6.0
