From my experience, the ls1 and lt1 fans are very sufficient for all your needs. They are loud, but were plenty when I towed my 6200# travel trailer this summer. If you are looking for them, post a WTB in the classified sections. You should be able to get them for under $100.

I got mine from a local junk yard. I believe there is a guy on ls1.com selling a set in the for sale section of "ls1 trucks", look over there.

I was wondering how to properly mount these? I would like to do it without ugly brackets (pretty brackets are ok) and without risking damage to my radiator. The bottom of the fans have a hole drilled and have been pushed onto the bolt that comes up, so the bottom is fine, it is the top that has me stumped, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
