Default LS1 fans

Need help I'm a new guy and picking up a set of LS1 fans for my truck. What do I need to get these working right? I plan on getting the Nelson harness so the install looks factory. I saw something about needing to re-program the pcm for the fans. Please help

If you want the pcm to turn the fans on and off automaticlly then you need to get a updated tune. If you want you can just manually turn them on and off via switch. I would suggest getting the pcm update and if you still have your stock tune then your killing two birds with one stone!

Thats kind of what I was thinking, I was just hoping there was a cheap way to get them to work right Till I could save the money for a real tune. Its hard when you're married.

You can use relay's one with a key on and then one with a temp switch.
