I've decided to buy a new LQ9 6.0 (long block) from the local dealership. If GM will not give us one in a SBSC 1/2 ton I will do my own. These things are only about $3,000 outright. My 5.3 should sell for at least 1/2 that which makes the upgrade pretty reasonable. With a cam change we are talking pretty close to 400 hp with no power adder. Does anyone know the GM part and the best year model to buy?

i think bigtex may have one that he is trying to get rid of, im not 100% sure but i know he said something about that not too long ago
