Tell me about it,oh well, guess GM was using those heads on other engines and not just the LS-2's.

Dropped some cash off Saturday for my total bill, Anybody got a part number for the steam vent cap gaskets? Also this engine was in a 4X4 chassis and my 2wd didnt have a external oil cooler,I really wanna reuse the oil cooler system but does any one know which line is inbound and which line is outbound?

Click on "Cooing System", then choose "Coolant Water By-Pass Gasket"

Stopped by again and saw it,the back two cylinders,7 and 8 must have been siting in water, the bearings were not too bad but did need some work along with the crank in that area, all the others forwards looked brand new, pistons looked good, none of the coating on the sides was worn or even touched, little heavy on the carbon build up but that was flaking off and will come off in the tank.

I am gonna have about 1400 in tear down, bearings, clean up,build up,degree the cam and a full set of ARP hardware.
