Its the top of the Y pipe right before mounting flange to the header. I was going to but it was the best angle for being able to install and uninstall the sensor when the exhaust is mounted in the truck.

Mine is after the merge. It was in the same place when I had my whipple.

With it being on one side you run the risk of missing something if the AFR isn’t right.

you have a dual o2 sensor gauge? did you calibrate the sensor?

lean can be a intake leak on bank 1, manifold to block leak, manifold to Y pipe to dead injectors

You want it as close to the engine as possible, pick a side, doesnt matter, but DO NOT put it 12 feet back at the merge "so it can see both banks". You want it close to the engine to capture data quickly, you always have the other stock O2 sensor looking at the other side so you wont miss anything.

I used new OEM intake and exhuast manifold gasket and torqued it all to spec. The 8.1l injectors im running were used but I used them in the past and they were working fine. I bought the 30-0300 x series Aem wideband. It says it doesn't need calibration.

So should I snug down my bolts more? So if the y pipe to headers has a leak it can cause this problem? Is best way to test injector to just swap them around?

Thanks for the help!

Use the back of your hand to feel around for any air leaks at idle. From a cold start, use a heat gun or your finger to touch all the primarys to make sure they are getting hot equally.

Driver side headers look brand new like they haven't gotten warm yet and the passenger side have changed color kind of has a light browning to them.
