The extra noise, probably sewing machine ish, is from the walls being thinner. What you are hearing is the exhaust valves slamming shut, which is accentuated with more aggressive cams and stiffer valve springs also.

Sadly I’m not hearing anything but knock right now. The motor doesn’t start unless I give it gas and wouldn’t ever stay running without some throttle.

how can I diagnose this motor and make sure it’s ok while I wait on new exhaust.

That one is tough, but an easy step is pull the plugs and see what they all look like.

Fuel soaked plugs means no ignition. Perfectly clean means no fuel. Lot of backfiring is probably no air (check rockers).

The 6.0 didnt survive break in. The knock doesn't seem all that loud in video but its quite a bit worse in person.

I dont know what i could have done wrong and this is very sad.

I used all new bearings, checked all clearances and torqued down with arp hardware.

All passenger side fired. Driver side was getting no spark on 2 cylinders. What would cause that. My coils are and injectors are the same ones that were working perfect in my 5.3 before the swap
