Default Nice work

Been following your build, props on sticking with it and getting it running after all that! Did you figure out why you were getting fuel in the oil? I’m having the same issue and can’t figure it out. I built my motor, maybe that’s it lol

I had a massive exhaust leak on my new exhaust header. The leak was causing driver side to run super rich and It two of my spark plugs weren't firing. I was just having fuel dumped in there and not igniting.

Ok! OD roller clutch was bad in transmission. Fixed it and NOW I’m driving again first time since December.

Got a DTC. Mass air flow code and truck dies idling in Drive. Any kind of tuning effect this? I swapped in a LS3 90mm gold blade with x link. Tuner knew this.

ill get a good amount of data logged and emailed to black bear for an updated tune.

If a tune can’t cause the MAF DTC let me know please and I’ll go snag another.

Idling in drive in the driveway is ok. But if I’m going 50 and slow down to a stop at a red light, it will die.

Not sure about with auto trans but when Atomic was dialing in my new 6.0 tune it took a couple revisions before it stopped dying coming to a stop in neutral. If you have hydro boost it could be causing more load and killing it.

Yea just needs tuning. MAF DTC is set by it either not functioning, or if it was set in the tune to report as failed to trigger SD mode on purpose.

I believe my tune is a little rich. I pulled the injectors and set card board underneath them with the ignition on and fuel pump pressured up but no leaks. Engine sounds as if it has a slight “cough”, hard to explain. It does back fire on occasion.

You need the Atomic touch on the tune. When I did my heads and cam he had it up and running great in just a couple logs. Then we did several more to get it ironed out. I had some problems too with being a novice on work on the internals of the engine. Texas Speed specking the wrong size lash cap for the high HPFP, which failed two. Learning the hard way to put new seals on these direct injection injectors. I had more than one blow a seal.

But he worked around all that. If I sent a log I got a new tune back in less than 24 hours. You can't beat that!!!
