Default Lq4 blew, need opinions

So broke some ringlands in my boosted lq4. 2 cylinders got marked up pretty good. Fingernail gets caught in the scratches.
My options are have machine shop possibly fix it, or tell me its junk.
Second option is I can pick up a 5.3 for $200 and boost that. Would I notice a huge difference in power ? The lq4 towed really nice in boost, we have a 7300lb camper we tow in the summer time.

Truck is 03 silverado 2500hd, 4l80e, 3000 stall, 4.88 gears, 35" tires, texas speed stage 3 truck cam high lift, ebay gt45 12 psi on lq4, 80lb injectors.

Those are the mark's. Not sure if it happened when I pulled the pistons out or after ringlands broke. No idea if machine shop can bore it out enough or not.

It's an iron block man, you can punch that thing out .125" over if you wanted

send er with .03 or .04 over if you want, she'll go.

Or do the JY 5.3, but you will prob notice the missing 80-100lb/ft

My FBO 5.3 peaks whp the same as a tune only LQ9, but I am shy like 40lbs, and I can only assume with boost that delta grows as does power
