I have the 212/218 low lift on a 5.3 and it pulls great, no loss of tq down low.
That cam should be a torque monster on a 6.0 as it should bring the power even lower. Hard to beat for a tow truck IMO
While it's possible that it may only give you 10hp at 2000rpm over stock, I'm sure by the time the engine hits 2800-3000 rpms the gains will be closer to 30hp maybe more so yes, a cam is worth it

I have the 210 218 551 551 114+4 that is in my sig and love it it's the crane vinnci grind pulled great across mount eagle with a 29 model A on my car trailer, most of the time I leave it in over drive.

I went over board with my setup. The best cam that I have had is the 212/218 high lift with the stock 317 heads so far. I pull a heavy boat and 4 wheelers also.
Now I have a L92 heads/intake with a TSP Torquer V2 cam, 3K stall, LT headers, 3.73 gears, and 285/75/16" tires (33's) It gets better than stock fuel mileage, and it's still fun to drive, even when I'm pulling the boat. There's a few vids of it on youtube
