You're overthinking this one, either cam will work great. As for the lift don't sweat it either, the difference between both cams should be next to nothing.

It's a win win situation as you can't go wrong with either, just pull the trigger.

Get the VHP cam. (210/218 .551/.551) You won't be disappointed.

Which one?! He's got a couple. Infact, I called and talked with Roger this AM and he recommended the "ULTRA TORQUE". He said with that came (due to ram speeds etc) I wouldnt need to do springs and rods?! Really?

Why the 116 +3 over 114 +4?

He must be having a bad day if he told you that you won't be needing springs or pushrods with any of those cams. Out of those I would go with the "BUTT KICKER"

Get the 080. It will have a little more down low where you want it, and it will be easy to tune. I'd recommend some decent beehive springs and hardened pushrods, just because you'll already be there, and they aren't terribly expensive either. But to say you NEED them might be an overstatement.

Just my 2 cents.

Just get some stock yellow springs and reuse your pushrods as stated.
