Here's my two pennies. Get you a good flowing muffler like a Borla, Hooker or Magnaflow and for the loud part just get an Electric Cutout, cause believe me too LOUD gets OLD.

Dynomax Bullet(s) depending on if you run single or dual exhaust, they are loud as hell:

you don't want loud all the time, trust me. I run pacesetter longtubes and cats and I have it dumped right under the cab right now. at 2200 rpm's I go deaf sometimes lol.

to be legal. I'd go longtubes, cats and a magnaflow dumped right after the cab. that's probably the loudest you'll get staying legal. a cutout would be wise IMO

I agree with the rest 100%. If you really want to know what really loud is like, just go under your truck, unbolt your exhaust at the flange, put one nut back on the bolt and sandwich the exhaust on between the first nut and the remaining nut. Make sure it's tight so you don't end up like me and search EVERYWHERE for the bolts and never find them and have to 'improvise' later on.

This setup is so loud it gives you a headache, because it's pretty much dumped under the passenger's legs. After about 4~hours of driving around with it, I had a headache and was tired of hearing it ALL THE TIME. Of course I didn't have any problems with the police because I live in Texas and everyone and their mother has a loud truck, but elsewhere, this loud of an exhaust wouldn't fly with the authorities.

Try it out it out so you can see what it is really like driving around with a loud, raspy V8 like the LSX. It's free, so there you go! You probably will want something a little more mild than that for a daily driver though...

I Run Lt's and an ORY with a performance muffler and it's just fine like it is not too loud and not quiet.. If you really want loud just do long tubes and straight pipe(no Mufflers) but you will not like it it'll get old quick and you'll be begging for a muffler plus you lose some performance like that
