under the truck after the stock y-pipe there is a flange with two bolts. remove the 15mm buts and let the pipe hang. its loud.

 

I chopped my stock muffler and unbolted it all at the flange and it really wasn't that high-pitched loud at all. it's a very deep shitty rumble sound. and it does cause a lot of drone. I have some pix/vids of my system I'll upload in a little bit so you can get a feel for what a very short dumped exhaust with LT's sounds like
