Default lookie lookie what i found on my doorstep

whats up gents,,,well,,im starting my venture into building my 4l60 tranny soon,,,its doin the slip and bang thing,,,and gas mileage is going down,,so i figured what the hell,,,might as well put a stall in it,,and what did i find on tbyrne's website,,10 % off yank converters,,with free shipping,,so ,,,i went for a truck thruster 2600,,,579 shipped to the door,,and happened to get home from work today and saw the YANK box on the steps,,almost got a wood.,,anyhow,,im having my tranny rebuilt by a place called the TOY SHOP TRANSMISSIONS.,,they have a decent reputation in southern cali,,,any recommendations are welcome for the build would be appreciated,,,,,,tranny will be in the shop late dec/early jan,,see ya guys around..

BTW-Yank converters rock-i had a 3600 street/strip for my camaro. It worked awesome no slipping or anything at all.

You're gonna wish you would have gone with the 3k, but that 2600 will make a nice difference.

some one asked what mods i have,,,,,,,5.3 litre,4l60,shift kit,nelson tune,turbo city dual k&n filter set up (rare,but works well),160 t-stat,3.73 gears (gettin an eaton with tranny rebuild) corvette servo,.500 boost valve,3inch exhaust with 3.5 inch bullet muffler,,,,thats bout it,,,,,,,before the shift kit,,,it did 14.8xxx quarters on 255/55 radials,,er should i say,,radial,,as im peg legged and the 60 foots were smokey if you know what i mean,,,,anyhow gents,,,talk to ya later,,,,,,,by the way parish,,,just read that thing your gonna do with the 4.8,,,,,,,,im gettin wood thinkin bout it,,lol,,late

im very happy with my 2600... i guess it's the ex cab (more weight) and towing i do. Soon ill have 35 inch tires w/4.88s...

well, yea, i guess your right flyer.. a 3k would be better for 1/4 times

congrats ham, you'll love the converter!
