Had mine in for 1 1/2 yrs now love em. But sure does add alot of shifting in my 5spd.

Are you replacing factory G80 with the Auburn or is there no LSD now?

I'm replacing 3.42's and open diff. Let yall know how they do when I get it back and broke in.

Thats pretty sweet, i was thinking of swapping the gears from my car to my truck. Put the 3.73's in my car and the 4.10's in the truck. Just swap em.

I believe the gears in the truck are not the same as the ones in the f bodies.

They're not the same at all. Cars have a 7.5" ring gear and the trucks is an 8.6" or something. But there is a huge difference. Don't attempt it, and be down both cars! That would suck!

I think the trucks are the 10 bolt 8.5, and im talking about my '78 with a 10 bolt 8.5.
