Just installed speed eng 1 3/4 lt headers on my 6.0 1500hd. Along with milled 243 heads and a btr stage1. I tied to the existing exhaust. It runs a lot stronger down low like I wanted. Headers bolted up perfect. Under 300 shipped and the quality is unbelievable for the price. Slave labor is cheap.

How do you like that cam? I was looking at their stuff and Texas speed, seems like most people are running one of the two in the trucks and having good results. Going to be adding a tbss intake, underdriven pulley, and trunion upgrade/springs etc while I'm in there. At 6500 lbs I need all the torque I can get but don't want to compromise to much on driveability/economy. Still use the thing to haul the family around and our camper and what not.

Huge improvement but I bumped the compression to around 10.7 and headers with true duals and gutted cats. Also did new piston rings. All that added up to a noticeable difference in the 1800 to 2500 rpm range while towing. I am on stock tune right now so i have not run above 3k rpm but I don't need to. Idles same as stock.

Yeah I keep going back and fourth on the heads, figure for my application I have a hard time justifying it. I mean if I was going to be running power adders or a huge cam it would be worth it. But I figure even a full cnc/mill job would only net maybe 30 to 40 hp over what I'm going to do already. Just have to draw a line in the sand somewhere I guess. Get that thing tuned!!! Just a tune on a bone stock rig makes it a new machine.

I do my own tuning I will get to it, maybe. Ltft are over 20+ so it is flowing more air. No knock so I am just enjoying it for now. I already had the heads and had to pull the engine for some oil leaks so easy decision for me.

Nice!! I'm going to have black bear do mine and get the efi live package deal so I can start doing my own tuning also.
