The 243s will just bump the compression up a bit and the 212/218 cam isn't a TON bigger than an ls6 cam. A stock ls6 makes plenty of useable power through stock manifolds/cats, plenty more than my larger lq4, so I can't see those gains not being worth it... Plus I already have the 243s and need the 317s off my truck for my car lol

I am not questioning the gains from longtubes, I am just wondering if on a truck that spends 90% of its life under 3500 rpms if I will ever see enough of the gains from to be worth the $400 + whatever it costs to tie them into the factory duals.

Just on the fence a little bit, I really appreciate the first hand experience you guys have had!

I run a 215/222 .603/.596 115+3 in my LQ9 designed for towing/performance, with mild manners and a hardly noticeable lope.

I am very impressed with the low end gains even when running 1 7/8" ARH headers.
