New guy here with a quick question,

I'm planning on buying LPP LT's with the catless Y-pipe. I am searching for a good straight thru muffler. I like the sound of the bassani mufflers, but the largest exhaust diameter they have is 2.5". How will that effect performance? I also have looked at the Borla Pro-XS exhaust. It comes in 3". Should I stick with the Borla or will the Bassani work tho it has a 2.5" inlet/outlet diameter?

I have an 01 RCSB Z71 5.3. All stock except for Blackbear 93 tune. I will have an Airaid MIT and LS1 fans soon.
