Sounds like it may be too big for a 5800 pound truck with a 6.0/SC combo. I might be the guy flashing to 3500. Yank want 800+ fot a TC?
That's the one I got. It drives really nice. Normal driving, it stalls around 21-2200. Its not loose feeling at all and I can still tow just fine. My truck is quite heavy also, but I don't have as big of motor as you, but I am running 12 lbs of boost now. It only flash stalls when you hammer on it and make it jump, which is what you want anyway . I think you would be quite happy with it. BTW, I paid $175 shipped for it from him, so I think you could offer him a bit less for it.

I offered him 220 shipped. We'll see if he goes for it. If not Fogle04 said he could get me one real close to that. I guess I'm getting a stall now...(sigh)

i vote dont waste money on shorty headers. looking at my manifolds, i cant see how shorties would help that much.

Long tubes with a Y pipe are a hair under $500.

Cool

I have the stock stall in my truck and it stalls to 2500 behind the 6.0L. I am sure that the TB will feel just about like stock to you for everyday driving. The difference being my truck has a 2.48 first gear ratio vs 3.06 in your 4l65E so it needs a little extra rpm to get it moving.

ok, everybody agrees. No shorties. Well, I'm to Biloxi to meet Litredevil to get the motor and I guess Slowprocess is meeting us as well to get a PCM programmed or something. I'll posy up pics tomorrow so you can tell me if I have another wrong engine
