I have more than one comment from people telling me I got robbed on the double titanium springs from Vinci. Robbed as in, I don't need them. They may be worth the $349 but I don't need them for my application. I could have gotten 918 or Z06 springs much cheaper. I bought hardened push rods, they are on the way. The springs already shipped so I'm gonna use them. I guess I can rev the **** out of it if I want huh?

Nope, still driving it Engine will be in tomorrow, cam/springs and maybe push rods on Monday. Won't be able to start until Wednesday of next week at the earliest. Maybe a week from tomorrow I will have pics for you guys. I will start a new thread when I teardown, this one is out of control length wise.

Today I got 2 gallons of oil, 2 gallons of coolant, fuel filter, oil filter, engine stand, shop rags, and misc. small tools. Beer is in the fridge. What else?

Keg ur lookin at about 6-7 hours of hard work to get it out. Took me alot longer but I screwed off alot. Good luck man, I would get a couple of buckets to catch the coolant from when you drain the radiator. Ratchet wrenches are a life saver.

Should I pin the crank on this one? I didn't do it on the 5.3 but I'm hoping for a little more power out of the 6L
