Default L76 into 2001 HD

I have a bud has a 2001 HD with an LQ4, at 276,000 it let go.
He can get a 2006 L76 with low miles for a good price.

I just want to double check teh advice I am giving him.

I told him he will need teh Lingenfelter 58x to 24x box.
As well as this kit from Lingenfelter. Will these 2 products cover all the GEN 4 engine into GEN 3 truck issues?
DOD Delete, Displacement on Demand Delete Kit 2007+ GM Applications - Lingenfelter Performance

What cams can be used? Are all GEN 3/4 cams the same so long as they are NOT VVT cams?

What can he use for an intake that would use his stock cable throttle, the ngine is lacing these parts?

Here is the casting number on the block. 12577461 Is it an L76?

yhanks guys

peace
