on my whipple set up and most other people i have talked to said at 95deg you prety much have no extra power from the blower.
If you check out this link; my KB I is the 2.2L and that is only .1L below the Whipple. parasitic Drag is actually better at 15psi. This must be pretty close to the whipple unless the whipple is bigger than 2.3L. KB is developing an intercooler to support their next kit at 10psi. Please advise if this is this correct info.

thats an interesting comparison. are you sure that is the blower you have? most people when they are talking KB for our trucks they are talking the smaller side mount blower and i think that is in the 1.7 range or so.

i am all confused. for some reason i was thinking he was asking about one of the old magna side mounts. that KB looks decent from that add. i still wouldn't pay anymore for that than a used whipple. maybe $1800 or so max.

The 2.2L is the same base that they put on the Blowzilla For the Cobras. A small pulley can bring the boost up pretty high. In those applications boost gets as high as 22psi. Too Bad there is belt slip and parasitic drag. my next stop is turbo, but not until I max out the KB. I will have to make an intercooler to get over 6lbs.

The 5.3 pushed 345Rwhp at 6lb- G-tech was 14.0. The 6.0 needs to go for a dynotune and Track. After driving it one week, I think it is at 420Rwhp easy.
Im scared of blowing the tranny. Its a matter of time!
