keep my 3.73 or go 4.10?
#1
I am finishing my cam install this week so the truck is in pieces right now but I was just wondering if I should change the gear setting in my truck? I curently have 3.73 with a powertrax no slip locker just wonder how much more gas I would burn switching to 4.10? Would it make much of a difference on my ET?

I don't think you will burn more gas.....your cam will take care of that.
It will help with your ET, a little bit. I don't think there's much difference between 3.73's at 4.10's, though. It might not be worth the extra $$$ and trouble.
I was considering the same thing (3.73 to 4.10), but I'm going to go with 4.56's. But I have a pretty tall tire compared to most.

I am thinking of swapping the my 3:73's for 4:10's pretty soon when I put the Eaton Posi unit in.... I am wondering the same thing.....
do you guys think it's really worth it?... or should I spend the $$$ elsewhere?
