Just got my ABS motor fixed!
#1
My warranty expired three months ago, and they tried to get it done for free, but it ended up costing me $977, ouch. Just when I decide to sell my truck this happens. It needed to get fixed though, because nobody was going to buy it with a loud humming noise, or the ABS and the brake light on. Kent.

Yea it was really only the 99's, but its possible the same problem can happen on 00+ trucks. They usually will cover the ABS module under an extended time period because its a known common problem.

That sucks man! It should be a fuggin recall!!!
The dealer fixed my '99 for free @ 50K miles, but had to charge for my brothers '99 @ 65K miles. Same dealership, same service manager, same problem....go figure. I still owe Joseph a six pack for urging me to take mine in to get it fixed after warranty.
