Just a click? Need help asap please!

Alright well first of all I just put in new motor in the Yukon and I am ready to fire it for the first time.
However all I hear is a click and so I pulled out the starter and let it hang while still connected. It just clicks and pops out with no spin. However it is also a brand new starter and I had it tested which it came out good. So after this I put in a new starter relaya nd still the same problem. What could be causing this? This is all I need to start my new motor and my anticipation is killing me! Thanks in advance, Mark.

Forgot to add that I also have a brand new battery as of yesterday. Voltage is at 14 and I also tried jump starting it. Still no luck.
