Don't smoke while doing it! Have a lot of disposable rags around to sop up the gas, but otherwise it's easy. I did not relieve the pressure on mine before hand, hence the small fuel spill.

what year did they stop putting external fuel filters? I know I have one on my 2003.... better look before you buy one, it's under the driver on the inside of the frame rail, easy to do, wear safety glasses, gas in the eye is not a pleasent experience.

In 04, KBOBOZ71 you're filter is inside the tank supposely they are unserviceable. So, you dont have to worry about changing it.
