Sounds like you have done your home work and done everything right.The "80" might cost you .2tenths but i know you will get it back.You drive your truck like parish and demand more out of a 4L60E than the guys with major HP like Mr427SS.that pampers it.

Parish,the 4L80E converter has a different bolt pattern,I just ordered a 01 HD 6.0 flexplate.How is your swap progressing?
