sure it's a good price, if you're bill gates. seems a little stepe(sp?) to me, but what do i know?

 

Just get the 6.0L heads and get them milled down. Or start looking around for people selling their stage 2 ls6 heads. Poolfanatic, here in Houston has some MTI stage 2 heads for sale. Not sure if they are ls6 but he said he paid like $4k for them. So chances are that they may be ls6 heads.

 

for that price you could get a good set of used heads that are already worked over thats what i would do whats so special about a zo6 head anyway

Guys the late model 6.0 truck head is almost identical to the ls6, just bigger chambers...Find a set and get some good bowl work and let them eat...Unless you are building a race monster...Those heads with a good clean up will perform as good as you need...

 

that was 4 a bare head wasnt it? i looked about a year ago and it was steep.

 

Shop around, I got mine for $950 (used / bare) from a classified ad.

 

Question if I put Ls6 heads on my 02 z28 what is the Hp rating. 20hp?

 

Boy this was a old post. I get them cheaper now. You will get at least that but also you bands of power are moved
