Default Intake Manifold questions

Hey does anyone out there know if the 4.8/5.3/6.0/Z06 5.7 intake manifolds are interchangable. I have a 5.3 Silvy and need to upgrade the intake manifold. Ready for supercharger's forced induction.

The manifolds are physically interchangeable, but you will have to modify the accessories to run the car intake. The TB and the idler pulley would share the same real estate if you didn't!

Do a search in this section...you'll find all kinds of info!

From my understanding the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 share the same intake manifold. The only thing different should be the EGR blocked off on the newer 02' and up models.

So basically i need to find an intake manifold for a 01 6.0l silvy and that should be a direct fit to my 5.3 01 silvy.

The newer manifold will fit your truck.

You don't have a manifold?

Screw those Bosch plugs, they are crap. Electric current can not ground through 4 different places at the same time. I should have thought more about it before buying them. I have some NGK TR-55's on the way now, they should be alot better.

I think you need to be a little more clear. Are you looking to swap to the 6.0L manifold as a performance upgrade?? If so... you are wasting your time. They are the SAME EXACT manifold.
