Default intake ?

would porting a stock truck intake gain anything?or would an aftermarket intake work well with a mostly stock setup?it wont ever have a bigger cam or fi, heads will stay stock as well, but will have headers.how much flow can the heads handle?

dont even bother messing with a truck intake..the runners are longer than how far the tool will reach to port it...

One off a vette, would probably be bigger and larger runners. If you don't go with a bigger TB, it could hurt you. You will loose bottom end and gain a little top RPM power.

The stock truck intake seems to work just fine for stock cubic inches up to 6000 rpm so I don't think the trouble or cost would be worth the swap since you aren't changing heads, cam, or going FI.

an ls1 intake included some vettes flows just as bad as a truck intake..bigger tb would add to nothing since the inlet is stil 78mm
