installing whipple on 5.3. what to expect?

That helps alot thank you, I sent him a pm waiting on reply. I did some reading on his threads and I will be doing an intercooler on it in a couple of months. What kind of rear wheel hp should I expect with my mods on stock wheels and tires? Also what else should I look to change to put down some good times with this setup. I would love to see high 12s

Is yours a side mount? I've got a KB I'm about to put in and I'm trying to figure out how to run an intercooler as well

Yes mine is a side mount, I don't think it would be all that hard to do. What kind of gains could be seen from a good intercooler setup over non intercooler?

you will see lower IATs which means more timing.
Its hard to explain and give an exact number.
just throw it on and go burn some tires.
