Default Installed FLP Tranny Saturday

I was going to go with Rossler, but for my own reasons went with Chuck @ FLP. I'm very happy with it so far (2days)FLP has great customer service.

Chuck wants to see how it will hold up against my set up. After talking to him I feel pretty good about it. I do have realistic expectations though, but the life time warranty helps too... j/k

Now its time to find a track and get some ET's

The FLP trans in my T/A has held up great! I never ran nitrous through it yet but beat it down pretty good N/A If and when I buy a new trans for the Z71 it will for sure be an FLP.

No the stock one was still hanging in there. Chuck did say the 2nd & 3rd showed signs of slippage though. The FLP 4L65 is a pretty trick piece

Went with a Yank 3400E TC, it's a tad loose but mostly because the truck is heavy. And traction is an issue now too

Just keep hammering away. I want to know how long the transfer case will last.

Thats good news about the 4L65. The one I ran in my 99 felt firm, and I definitly want this one to last for a while.

If you run the **** out of it like Parish did with his FLPs,i will say you get 2k miles out of it or 12-16 Passes.which ever comes first. You have a lot of Tq and a great warrenty.although his OE trans lasted a very short time with near max power going though it before he went through a couple FLPs.

Don't remember what it was, but Parish said Chuck broke it down and found the weak link and improved it. Both times it was different, but after the frist fix, that part showed no signs of wear when the second problem developed. Get Parish in here to elaborate.

First I didn't ask you, second the Warranty ck your spelling was something I said in jest. Thirdly next time unless you've got an opinion based on experience and or facts please refrain from any negative comments on my threads anyway I also think Parish is capable of speaking for himself.
