Injector swapping questions

You can disconnect the fuel rails from the crossover tube and you don't have to use a disconnect tool.

sorry to pull up an old thread, but I am searching for info regarding this. I'm having a hell of a time trying to pull my injectors to swap them out. I'm having a hard time unplugging the injector from the main harness and also I'm unable to lift the fuel rail off the engine because I have 2 huge wiring loom lines running over top the engine

I don't see how it could be so easy, unless I am doing something wrong
