Default injector size for small cam lq4

I got a smokin deal on a lq4 last week so i ditched the idea on just camming my 5.3. So I am going to put a comp 212/218 low lift in and swap motors. I am not trying to make my truck for a 1/4 mile number I am just looking for a good bump in power. That being said im leaving the stock gears, stock converter, and manifolds on. The truck has e-fans , cai , and catback ill prob. remove at least the rear cat. I have 2 sets of injectors the stock 99s which I know are in good shape and the ones out of the lq4 which are 2000-2002 which I dont know if they are any good. Because of how long the motor was sitting up. Basically will the stock 99s work or would the lq4 injectors be enough or should I get some 8.1s? Thanks for the help

I'd say that the 99's are out of the question, as they flow less than the 00+ injectors. I believe that the 99's flow either 19 or 21# vs. 24.7 for the 00+. The 00-02 injectors may be adequate, but I'm not sure. If you got some gas 8.1 injectors you'll be good to go for sure as they flow 29.9# (but are often referred to as 31# injectors), and they are cheaper than the marine 8.1's. You should be able to find a set for $100-$125, or possibly less if you're lucky.
