Default Lokar Performance Products

I work for Lokar and we are on track to make dipsticks for the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 truck motors. We are needing measurements off of stock dipsticks to complete that process and thought this would be the right place to ask for your imput and information. We basically need the measurement with the entire dipstick out of the block from the full mark to where it seats on the block and also a measurement from where it seats on the block to the tip of the inner dipstick. If pulling the dipstick is not possible, we ask that you pull the inner out of the tube and give us the part number off of it. With any info that you give us about the dipsticks, we would also like you to include what year, model, and engine that the measurement came from. I would like to thank you in advance for any info that you give us.

Thank you,
Mike

bumpin this old thread. I found it searching in hopes that someone makes a nice dipstick for truck oil pans.

I could probably get the measurements off mine if you still need them.

And I'd be fine with you sending me a free prototype. lol

Of you have not gotten your measurements, I got a complete new dipstick tube from the dealership for around $15. I have a 2K2 Silverado with a 5.3, if you'd like I can see if I can see the number stamped on the tube? But for that price it be worth it just to make measurements and you could return it once done.

What is the part number? The bracket broke off mine when I did my 6L swap.

Hate to revive this from the dead but I bought this same product in that link after kinking my stock dipstick fitting it around my headers and the lokar dipstick is in no way accurate. stock dipstick is about an inch longer.
