Default injector recommendation for mild 6.0

need some help and recommendation for my near engine swap/build. 6.0 with tr224-563-112, bolt-ons, ported tb, long pacesetters, vig 3200 stall, 3.73s.

i believe stock are like 24.8, would they work without being too lean? mechanic says it is all in the tune but being greedy, we want the most hp, right? lol. i want to get the most performance i can with the above parts so what do you all recommend and why??? thanx, rob. (low2001gmc@aol.com)

i would go larger, leaving it open for more mods down the road. you can tune a larger injector to spray the correct amount of fuel, but if its too small then you must buy another set.

i think the stockers would cover a cam only 6.0. as soon as you go with heads or an intake, or nitrous, you will need bigger.

my 44's cover heads/cam/nitrous just fine..

44 lbers FTMFW
Alot is in the tune but when you have your stockers running 100+ on the duty cycle, isn't good

I'd get marine 8.1l injectors which are 42lbers. Usually find em for around 250ish.
I'm running them and they are more than enough for full bolt ons cam, heads 6.0l.

Also i ran the stock injectors for a short period and they simply cannot keep up with a cammed 6.0l
My injector duty was around 115% and the richest it would go was about 14.7 basically not safe.

The 42s are plenty big, plug and play and priced pretty good.

I was at 100% IDC with my stock injectors (LQ9) with a 216/222, full exhaust, CAI, underdrive pulley and a 160* Thermo shifting at 6100 in my SSS.

Go with the 8.1 Marine injectors and have some wiggle room.
