Default Injector question?

My buddy has a 5.3 silverado and has done some major mods to it and needs some injectors rather quickly. Another friend had ordered L92 heads and the L76 intake which came with injectors. I have two questions: Am I correct in thinking the injectors are 42lbs and will they work in the 5.3? I remember reading something about a different o-ring kit and bolt kit that you can order but I didn't know for sure if this would work for the 5.3 as well.

After doing some research it seems that the 8.1 marine injectors might be a better choice...do you guys agree? If so, where is the best place to buy them and get them quick?

the L76 injectors are the wrong style so no they wont be a direct drop in for replacement of stockers

Yeah, I knew they weren't direct drop in but you can buy an adapter kit from Katech right? But now I am wondering if it would just be better to find some 8.1 marine injectors. The reason we were going to go with the l76 ls7 injectors was because we have them here. We need them before friday.

FYI, FICInjectors over on tech, can reflow you stock injectors to 42's for 200 bucks.

That may be an option if we can't get some this week.

Here is a link to the ones I had made.

You can get the 8.1 Marine units here:

Not sure if it's ok to post their link but will remove if needed.
