Default injector pigtail question.

why do i need the ls1 pigtails for the 60# injectors that i am installing? is it for the plug itself, or just the locking mechanism? just wondering. cuz i was told that just the locks were different. also is 5/8 of an inch exactly what i need to space the fuel rail for these inj.? or is that just an estimate? i would like to know because i may be doing this swap in the driveway at the dyno and dont want any surprises!!

Buy the kit that Nelsons Performance sells for the injector swap and you should have everything that you need.

Pigtails are for the connectors. Not the same as multec II. I got mine from a junkyard about $1 each. Just cut crimped and soldered. Spaced 5/8" exactly going from stock injectors to 60# mototrons w/ stock rails and intake. I cut the spacers out of aluminun tubing from Home Depot w/ a tubing cutter.

Are the Radix injectors the same height as stock?
