Been there done that, have the t-shirt....not worth the work IMO.

The A/C turns off at WOT......The A/C is used to cool the water in another res. tank. It works, but the cost/gain is not worth the effort.

i was thinking of running the 134A through the intercooler just as you would an evaporator inside the car.

I'm with BigTex ... those are about the temps I see with mine. I've also got the old original heat exchanger up front and could REALLY use a nice bigger one. I think it would be worth some time too. I see no KR though. I very seldomly see any KR, even in high heat with the sun beating down.

crap..
went logging today and found that my avergae was 160... got as hot as 194 at one point and as low as 142...
of course it was about 110 degrees today.
maybe its time to check the ol reservoir.

I Would think under hard acceleration you'd want your iat's to be in the 120-140 range. I noticed mine to be around 146 thru the traps. Ultimately, I'd like to see them in the 120 range. There's lot's of differing opinions on this subject. Some say you can spray a 50 shot of nitrous thru the maf, and it brings the temps down by 40 degrees. I spoke with Rodger Vinci about this yesterday, and he advises the best way to achieve lower iat's without being on the ragged edge tunewise, would to put a second heat exchanger inline in the system with a fan on it. I have the heat exchanger mounted in the lower valance, so I think I might just put another ezchanger in the original Radix spot, in front of the radiator. Maybe something like an aftermarket trans cooler with fan. Also going to slow down the intercooler pump to around 10-12 volts, like the guys from Chevyhighperformance did.
