Default IAT's with Radix

On the thought of keeping the iat's down with the Radix combo, has anyone given any thought to using those Holley NOSzles that have an adapter so you can run nitrous directly into the injector. I'm not sure if they'd even fit, but that looks like an excellent way to inject nitrous to keep the stream cool, instead of having your collant (whatever it may be) going thru the blower and getting heated up, reducing the effectiveness.

Ok. I'm thinking that you're only going to get a certain amount of intercooling with the water to air intercoolers we have. You can slow the pump down some (actually as much as you want) to let the coolant do a better job, and you can put a fan on the heat exchanger to help, too. It seems that a water/meth injection, or a dry nitrous shot would be the best way to cool the intake charge. The way the Radix is designed ( and I'm DEFINATELY not knocking it!) the only way to do any kind of spray is to spray into, or before the compressor (blower). It sounds like meth might damage the rotor, and I'm not real sure about putting nitrous directly into the blower, also it partially negates some of the cooling effect because of the heat the compressor makes. So, it seems the best, or only way would be to use some kind of deal that sprays the cooling mist of whatever you want to use directly into each port. There's no place on our manifolds to put a nozzle that would get even distrabution. Holley makes a set-up called the NOSzzle system that the injector fits into to inject the spray. Maybe I'm going overboard. Just food for thought. I know some are using the meth injection kits, spraying before the compressor, but haven't heard how well they are working. Maybe I should just shut the hell up! Let me know.

No, no, no. Not deficient, just thinking how to maybe improve on an already good thing. The cooler, the better, right?

Most likely wouldn't even help My IAT never went over 135 last night, about a 110-125 average. 160 is when you need to start doing something about it, that is about the temp the fuel stars to evaperate and cause power loss.

same here, my peak IAT's were at the end of a run, mid 130's usually, staging lanes from about 110-125.

Is there an IAT temp sending unit on the Radix? if not where do you put them? To read BlownChevy's response, is it even needed?
Thanks.
