Default i think i am making more power now. tranny let go.

yeah, thats right, chuck is going to be busy.

i was geting a funny BOV action at my 2-3 shift and thought it might be due to short shifting it. i was shifting at 5300 or so and it was bringing the rpms down to 3700, too low for this set up i think since it was seting off the bov and droping power. it seemed to like the short shift with the t76, any higher just seemed like it didn't help.

tonight i turned the shift up to 6000rpm, i got on the interstate, rolled into it and was seeing 16+psi, it pulled strong right up to 5800 or so and shifted into 3rd. when it shifted it hit HARD and then free reved. looking at the logs it pulled the rpms down from 5800 down to 5600 and then free reved to 7500rpm but didn't seem to hurt anything. i think with this turbo i am going to be able to shift much higher than with the t76.

i am sure that is the most power i have ever put to it during the 2-3 shift so it seems i found a weak link. i dont know much about trannys but i am guesing some hard part let go. hopefully something that doesn't make a big mess.

chuck, if you read this i need a box

Sorry to hear man, but that is to be expected at your power level. Good luck getting it back together.

4L80, right? What kind of upgrades did it have? I hate breaking stuff, especially after completing a project.
