Default I need opinions... (CC224/228 vrs. TR224)

I was planning on doing a 6.0 swap in the near future but looks like that will have to wait for now. I currently have a 212/218 cam and in my 5.3 and was considering going with a larger cam. I have a 224/228 581/588 114 sitting in my garage but I have now I am considering just going with TR224. What would the difference be between these two cams and is it enough to justify selling the 224/228 and looking for a TR224? My main concern is the longer exhuast duration. I am afraid to loose too much low end and the high lift putting a strain on my 918's.
I want to maintain drivability of my truck since my wife will be driving it once in a while now that we sold the beater.
I plan to keep my 5.3 n/a btw.

I will buy your 224/228 if you go with another cam.

Hey Tib, if your going to swap the cam in, what are you going to do with your current 212/218 cam?

Sneak it in my wife's truck. Hopefully she won't find out....
